Tips on How to Use This in Your Classroom
Tip #1: Turn It Into a Booklet
Print out the entire packet of no prep social studies activities and let students assemble their own country research books. They LOVE this. It gives them a sense of ownership, and the final product is perfect for parent displays or bulletin boards.
Tip #2: Use It for Oral Presentations
We use these as the foundation for short oral reports. Students present their country research with pride, often dressing up or bringing in related items from home. It ties beautifully into International Day or a “World Expo” class event!
Tip #3: Perfect for Independent Study
As one teacher says, “One of my students traveled abroad for a month, and this bundle was a lifesaver! It gave them structure for independent work and a meaningful way to document their experiences. When they returned, they shared their completed project – and we all learned something new!”
Tip #4: Mix & Match
Even if you’re not diving into all six countries at once, you can pull parts of each project to match student interest. One teacher used it as a differentiated choice board – students picked the country that intrigued them most!
Digital + Printable = Convenience
This resource also comes as a digital Easel activity, which makes assigning, editing and reviewing super easy – especially if you’re in a 1:1 digitech classroom or need to assign work remotely. You can leave feedback, add instructions or allow students to type directly in the text overlay provided.
Here’s what your students will gain:
Critical Thinking: Comparing countries, cultures, and climates
Research Skills: Pulling information from texts or web resources
Creativity: Designing maps, flags, and book covers
Global Awareness: Exploring traditions, holidays, and lifestyles around the world
