The Mini Bundle of Aesops Fables include The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse and The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Available in both in both print and digital resources to cater for different learning styles, it is ideal for social emotional learning about character traits that include honesty, truth-telling, respect, gratitude and appreciation. This literacy packet consists of reading passages, graphic organizers for teaching narrative story elements, while integrating character education lessons and building reading comprehension skills around fictional stories.

This resource is available in both print and digital formats, so you have the option of projecting on a smartboard for whole class instruction, print hard copies for students or assigning as a digital activities via EASEL (with text overlay!)

- Story Sequencing Activity – helps students understanding sequencing of events and narrative structure and builds text comprehension.
- Story Map Graphic Organizer –A visual graphic organizer for students to map out characters, setting and plot, to help them understand story elements.
- Postcard to a Character – a creative writing task where students imagine sending a postcard to a character
- Design A New Front Cover – students redesign the book’s front cover, encouraging them to think about key themes and visuals.
- Venn Diagram – students compare and contrast 2 characters, promoting critical and creative thinking skills
- This Reminds Me Of… A text-to-self connection that encourages students to connect to the story based on their personal experiences
